Kites and Kite Flying is home to the Cool Kite Site Award.
This award was started in January, 1997, and is given to kite
sites which offer exceptional graphics, information, ideas and
are visually appealing.

Contains information on Historical and Modern kites, as well as Kite Aerial Photograph.
There are many pictures on this site which has a nice presentation and layout.
Definately one of the best resources for the history of kites.

About the Award
The COOL KITE SITE AWARD is awarded to one or two
(maximum) kite sites each month.
The objectives behind this award are to recognise which
sites are best and therefore to collect them and link them all
on one page. The award was started in January 1997.

ie. A different award image, or a star-system, where the
site gets a rating on the award (eg. 4 stars of 5 = good, 5 = excellent...)
