Rocking The Daisies review

Acclaimed landscape photographer Michael Poliza (nice site boys) set off this week on his epic Heli-Africa expedition, which will see him travelling from Hamburg (his home town), to Cape Town (city of residence), by helicopter – photographing the earth from the air as he goes. I’ve noticed a lot of HDR-tagged photos appearing on Flickr lately. Via Cambridge in Colour tutorials:
High dynamic range (HDR) images enable photographers to record a greater range of tonal detail than a given camera could capture in a single photo.
Namibian thoughts

Photos of the moon
What is it with photos of the moon? I’ve taken a few myself, but only to test a lens or experiment with taking a photo through binoculars and silly things like that.
