query.dropSlideMenu.js

dropSlideMenu is my attempt at building a simple (single-level support only), yet easily and highly-customisable drop-down menu with an attractive sliding effect.

query.dropSlideMenu.js v1.0 – View Demo or Download

There are plenty of jQuery drop-down menu scripts already available, but I often find that they’re either too basic, or too complicated and bulky, or … view full post

Defending IE6

Lately I’ve noticed an increasing trend among web designers/developers who are proudly announcing their decision to drop Internet Explorer 6 from their list of supported browsers, or advocating ways that enforce IE6 users into upgrading. Some of these methods are good for a laugh, some … view full post

I’ve made a couple of improvements to the plugin. The ones worth mentioning:

Have added a little feature to this site called Google Hilite, thanks to Dean @ … view full post

Edgars: just imagine

Acidman just directed me to the new Edgars website. Wow, incredible stuff. How ironic that their slogan is “just imagine”…

Even when you do visit the site with their specified browser of choice, you are presented with an inconsistently-sized layout, images in place of text, a dynamic menu with a font size so tiny that … view full post
