Meet David Bullard
I prefer not to blog about blogging, but this just takes the cake. Via Muti:
Meet Sunday Times' columnist David Bullard, sharing his thoughts on bloggers. Too funny.
Vincent responds: David Bullard owes South African bloggers an apology
So does Uno: David Bullard plays Air Opinion
UPDATE [07/05]: David responds to the blogosphere's "Bullardgate" backlash.
UPDATE [08/05]: Can't get enough of the Bullard bluff? (or not? or what?) Then here are some more links to keep you occupied:
- The Bullard blog charade (by Matthew)
- The Poynter Institute: Bullards "bald-faced bigotry ... should have no place in a responsible news organization" (by Vincent)
- Bullard on blogs - storm in a teacup? (Bizcommunity)
That's not the last of it, so follow the conversation on Afrigator, Amatomu, Muti or Technorati.

Agreed, this is definitely worth blogging about.
I’m glad you found it funny, and not insulting like most others :)
From time to time I’ll read one of your blogs, usually leave a comment, then fuck off on my merry way. Coda, your shit isn’t half bad.
But. Jesus McFucking Christ! There is so much bullshit on the internets! Myspace, LJ, Facebook, argh! The internet is 90% pr0n, 2% business, 1% wikipedia, and the rest can only be defined as a collective rim job of the cesspit that is our information age’s vanity. I read the vincentmaher.gay link you posted. Guffaw! Everyone is so up in arms about this bullshit article. This is typical bullshit blog drama.

Somebody please pass the mind-bleach.
Thanks for your contribution Geoff. I wonder if I’ll get some hits via Google for “David Bullard gay pr0n” after that!
LOL… we need more of this stuff man. Someone, please send mr. Bullard another joint.
He totally got what he wanted. Well played to him.
I just laugh at how those who were offended leave comments on other pages with links to their rebuttals to Mr Bullard’s hilarious tongue-in-cheek humour as they create this crazy circle-jerk with Bullard in the aiming sights.
But with regard to the one dude calling it Bullardgate. When did this become some great social scandal that he felt the need to create a -gate construction? Personally, I find the -gate suffix an overused and improperly used little device.
If only people would realise that everybody’s opinion is correct when taken from their point of view :/ Except for mine…my opinion is always MORE right.
I HAVE SEEN GEOFF’S GOATSE!! It tastes naaaice! In fact, I call this GeoffGate – cos it’s scandalous!
