Spread The Love

In just over three weeks it'll be time to Spread The Love again! (If you're unfamiliar with the concept you can read more here)
Having missed all the other holidays and special occasions over the past year, despite a determined effort for Mother's Day, I've decided to finally update the site - in a way that will allow it to accommodate any day of the year. So the cards won't cater specifically for Valentine's Day as they currently do.
Here's where you come in, dear reader - I'm going to replace some of the stale cards with fresh designs! If you have anything in mind and would like to contribute, even if it's just a concept in your head that you'd like me to execute on your behalf, please let me know. Drop me an e-mail and I'll send you more details. Also, take a look at the existing cards to get a feel for the style of design, and sense of humour. Full credit link lovin' will be sent your way, of course.
Ideally I'd like to replace 2 of the cards and add another 5, but this all depends on the response - so please give it some thought and get back to me ASAP if you have anything to add. Thanks!

awesome concept – can’t believe I didn’t hear about it last year!
Cool concept,
The only drawback I can see is that you cant start a whole anonymous conversation with someone you know.
I found a local SMS service which would work great for Valentine’s day. Check it out
http://www.secretsms.co.za. Only problem with SMS is that it costs money.
You’ve got excellent graphics on Spread The Love
Hendrik: adding functionality to reply to an anonymous card (or any card for that matter) is easily done and something I’ll definately consider, thanks for the suggestion.
Good luck with secretsms, it sounds cool too!
The style is very beautiful like you
Damien, I am happy to see that SPREADTHELOVE is returning this year, and it’s great to see that you have not limited it purely to Valentines day! I will boost the site again this year, as I did last! Regards, Chris.
Thanks for your help Chris – if you think up any ideas for cards let me know. There’s a little bit of work to be done on the backend – copy updates, bug fixes (cards currently aren’t being received, oops!), new features, etc. – but most importantly new card designs are required. The easiest approach is to take a local icon or stereotype and adapt it to fit a love card with a clever title.
I can’t really help in the design department, I am a programmer at heart, design is something which my mind does not see, hehe.
I placed a good sized banner on my website, I hope it’s driving some traffic, Valentines day is around the corner!
Keep well bud!
Thanks mate much appreciated, just posted an update on my progress. Things are looking good!
