I've discovered Aussie singer-songwriter Ben Lee thanks to Shaun. Awesome listening. Awake is the New Sleep! And that's the way I like it.

Imagine my annoyance (after last year’s Jack Johnson/KFM debacle) when about ten minutes after I fell in love with Ben Lee (via http://www.archive.org/details/benlee2004-06-17.shn via Evan Dando) I heard a shitty cover of ‘Awake Is The New Sleep’ blaring out of the new Old Mutual ad.

Ben’s album is damn good. The little skinny dude has a habit of writing catchy as hell tracks.
Yeh, I think I meant Nedbank. Green, corporate, you can see how they’d meld into one.
Which is probably just as well since Old Mutual own Nedbank.
I think I could become a chimper… I’m getting worse… I’m starting to check most of my pictures right away or immediately after (when I can still go back and try to take the same pictures again).
I love Zefrank and his amazing cat… I’m wondering if he’s a chimper too :)
