Champers and strawberries on Henman Hill
Quiet please...
Compliments to Ian, we're heading down the road to watch the final day of Wimbledon on Sunday. I spent years of my childhood at the tennis club, most of the time not even playing but just hanging out (and making prank calls with those old "tickie box" phones), and Wimbledon is the only sporting event I've ever wanted to attend. Should be good! Look out for us hillites on Henman Hill drinking champers and eating strawberries.
While on the topic, check out How high-tech equipment is destroying tennis.
Modern rackets are significantly bigger and stronger than old models, yet weigh half as much. No wonder a former technical director of the International Tennis Federation has said that "we are approaching the limit on reaction time for the return of serve." ...
We're also repeating the Monopoly Pub Crawl on Saturday. Better prepared this time around, I reckon we can do it. YARRR!!! Photos will follow, compliments of my new digicam.

My Casio Elixim EX-S3 arrived this week. Just larger than a credit card, it's exactly what I wanted - small, light and inconspicuous. I'm thinking about partaking in the 26 Things project, again. Considering that I'm hoping to be in Scotland in roughly two weeks time, it could get interesting. Any other takers?
Here's one of those Personality Tests... or English Language test, whichever way you look at it. You'll love this Wa - I'm a hippie! But the rest sounds like balls...
