5am brain dump
I woke up after 2pm yesterday afternoon, without any recollection of when I got to sleep, and after feeding my hangover a Panado, decided to sit down at my laptop (Ferrari 3000, anyone?) to start some downloads.
It's now 5am and I'm still sitting here, having left the flat once to buy a dodgy doner kebab (it was more like a schwarma) from this place up the road, where I was served by a women who didn't speak a word. I find living in England and coming across so many new faces each day, that the number of weird people is jointly increased. Earlier this week a guy was swearing at an underground public lift while hysterically banging his head against the buttons; I'd have canned myself if it wasn't scary.
So 15 hours, 500mb, 15 concurrent Mozilla tabs open and countless Tetrinet games later, I still haven't showered, and I have so many random thoughts [mental note after glancing at TV : tape Wildboyz repeat today at 10:30pm] in my head that I want to log and share, so I'm just going to let rip all at once before my brain explodes. I recall doing this once before. Brace yourself - it's at times like this that I evolve into a babbeling annoyance.
The Ferrari red is patented. To answer your question, Ian: Tall Tales - Intel on Mt. Everest. Apple Computers launched a new store in Ginza, Japan, two weeks ago. This QuickTime video [32mb] , directed by Masanori Fukumoto, is - as he puts it, truly unbelievable. View this commentary and some photos, or try here as an alternative. Evangelism efforts continue: coming soon to a browser near you: a web free of advertising at Biz-community. ZA web dev industry bashing continues: VentureWeb Interactive - "a dynamic, energetic business that has worked extensively with some of Southern Africa's leading businesses to develop functional interactive digital systems" turned 5 this year, yet they can't seem to get it right - look WWW.Warrenski, pointy up arrow on their portfolio page! I realised earlier, having seen the Limp Bizkit music video for their cover of 'Behind Blue Eyes' that the word on the clipboard is Gothika, Halle Berry's new film, in which she plays a repressed female psychiatrist who wakes up as a patient in the very asylum where she worked with no memory of committing a terrible crime. YAY, the music video now has purpose! I did wonder about that. Christina Aguilera's 'Stronger' music video is similar to Madonna's 'Frozen', one of my favourite songs, which is the work of Chris Cunningham, one of my favourite directors. If there's one thing (or 3) in particular that I'm buying myself for xmas, it's all of these. Amazon link. Michel Gondry is a god, too - responsible for The White Stripes: The Hardest Button to Button, Kylie Minogue: Come Into My World, Chemical Brothers: Let Forever Be.. to name but a few. How can one man have so many brilliant ideas. I've always played with numbers, mentally. I see numberplates and turn them into a sum, for example. It's happened enough times to make me wonder, that since arriving here, when I've glanced at the clock the time has been 12:34. There are currently 1234 photos in my Personal digicam.coza photo album. Can we find patterns in nature only when we're aware they exist? Does that even make sense? The timestamps on my comments are server times and not visitor times, which I've also noticed on other blogs that I frequent. Will fix sometime. Favourite to win, Sam was voted out of Pop Idol last night. ha ha, that sux. ha ha, I watch Pop Idol. ha ha, it's 7am. I don't think I've cleared half of my brain bookmarks. Time to depart for flight B3D-5l33P. Estimated time of arrival: 12:34pm.
This is all probably going to sound as bad as it does now when I reread it at a later stage. But not as bad as a foolstop babalas kak. So crazy right now.

Dude. It’s 12:33 now. You only have 1 minute until ‘arrival’. Do you want me to come wake you up right now? I can. I’m just in the next room you know. Mwahahaha…
This has nothing to do with South Africa… but I’m an expatriot, living in Canada, looking for a fucking search engine for blogs… If anyone knows how to search on blogger.com… please let me know by email sj_canada_2002@msn.com… or leave a messege on my site… http://www.suranjan.blogspot.com Cool, thanks, that would be about all.
