Heat wave in London
I can't stop going off about the weather here, today it's an unbearable 34°C - not the type of weather you want when you have to haul 25 kgs of your life around London. But we managed - and have moved into another hostel in Hammersmith, three tube station stops away from Earl's Court and next door to Shepherds Bush, where many saffas are located. Not only that, but the nice lady who checked us in at the hotel is South African, and our new neighbours in room 207 are saffas too. Yup, we're taking over the world. Or London, at least.
So I'm blogging from Hammersmith now.
Met up with Andrew last night, who I hadn't seen in over a year, and one of the few people I've known all my life - was good to see another friendly face and catch up. Andrew, I know you're reading this sitting at work, bored...stop daydreaming, and give this a go - three years old, but always a classic.
I went for two job interviews yesterday and have another lined up for Tuesday, so have been quite busy lately. Both went well I think, but will wait until next week to see how I feel.
Another reason to use a Mozilla Foundation web browser over Internet Explorer.
Dig the new look, Sarah! ;)
Aiit. Off to visit the Science Museum now, hopefully they have air conditioning. Any maybe after that, a visit to Shepherds Bush to take some photos of South Africa Road and Bloemfontein Road!
