Last update for the morning and before I go to bed. Just happened onto the website of Justin Frankel - the guy who created WinAMP and founder of AOL-subsidary Nullsoft, Inc. From there I found myself at nullsoft.com downloading Beep - "an application that makes your computer sound like computers sound in the movies". Pretty funny.
