BlogMatcher
BlogMatcher is a new website program, written by a Google fan, that helps people find weblogs that match their interests and find like-minded blogs. When given an URL to a weblog (called "Reference Blog") the system finds other blogs that appear to discuss similar topics. While writing this post, mine has, umm... 69 matches.
I never thought it would happen, but Nat ("un-extraordinary"?? pha-lease :) is blogging more than the collective efforts of Warrenski, Foolstop & digitalsewer (.co.za). Since we're basically the only saffas blogging, I think this is rather disgusting. In fact, I'm totally appalled, my jaw is gaping wide and I'm frothing at the mouth, my left big toe is throbbing, my eyelids are flapping uncontrollably and thoughts of suicide are hosting parties in my head. Come on guys... seriously now.
And what's this? Over at ITWeb:
Mugg & Bean restaurants have signed a deal with M-Web to pilot the provision of cable-free Internet access to the public. Four restaurants in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban will pilot the wireless Internet access.
It is envisaged that business people will be the main users, but M-Web says the offering might prove to be popular with younger people with a strong Internet culture.
Maybe they should have considered first improving their levels of customer service, 'cos atm it stinks. And what's the deal with corporate wallpapers, who would ever want this on their desktop?
