PS2 Mozilla skin
Slow progress is like reliving a nightmare. But it's happening: PS2 meets Mozilla in my first Mozilla skin. Like Warren, I don't think I would use it either, but it's something I started and I like the way it's presently looking, so I'm going to finish it.
Inspired by Opera 7 skins. Now if only I can get Opera 7 to install - ever since uninstalling the Beta and trying to install the final 7.01 release, the install freezes at 2% (during the initial self-extracting stage). Blah!

you’re crazy if you don’t finish this skin! it’s the best skin i’ve seen thusfar, and it’s just a sliver of a screenshot! for real though, i will punch myself in the sack if you don’t.

Any idea as to when this skin will be released. It’s super clean and I’d really like to use it. I know what it’s like to be short on time, but this skin is too good not to finish…let us know when it’s ready to go.

Ouch, jon – straight to the heart! I’m really hoping to finish this skin when I get a chance – which isn’t anytime soon unfortunately. Time is money, etc.
trust me i understand not having time to work on the things you’d love to finish. perhaps my comment was a bit dramatic. i was only hoping to get under your skin so you’d finish it haha. i love themes with dark gray or black. maybe i should look into creating my own theme, is it rather time consuming?
Not that time consuming, but difficult to get to grips with the process because it’s so poorly documented and supported. Until they release a theme builder (if they ever do) you’ll have to dig around on the mozillazine forums for help. And you need a good understanding of XML & CSS.
cool, i think i’ll look into it this weekend. i’ll be sure to let you check it out once it’s done. i’m a fan of your work and would love for you to critique some of mine sometime.

You really should make this file open source then if you aren’t going to finish it. It is a brilliant idea and should be seen through – post it up on the mozilla firefox open source boards or here – someone is bound to have a crack at it and finish it off if you don’tr have the time.

just wondering if that screenshot was just a jpeg you made in photoshop or something? or can you actually use it? do you even know how to make a firefox skin? if not you should take this whola page down cause you are kinda fakin the funk guy
Ouch, relentless! This post is just short of 3 years old, so please see my projects page which explains my plans and intentions. Having said that however, I probably won’t ever finish it unless the theme development support improves. (And I don’t like the idea of passing my work on to someone else – if you’d like to continue with this skin, take the JPG above and go with that. It’s pretty standard stuff really.)
