35th for alcohol consumption

The latest statistics compiled by the South African Wine Industry Information and Systems (SAWIT) show that South Africa ranks 35th in the world in total consumption of alcohol.

We're ranked 40th for spirits (1 litre/year), 22nd for beer (58,7 litres/year) and 34th in terms of wine consumption (6,8 litres/year). Read the full article.
